Places Around The World is run by Yohana Rodriguez, an independent travel advisor affiliated with Fora Travel, Inc. (“Fora”). By requesting a quote, booking, or using this website, you agree to these terms.

Your travel is provided by the hotels, cruise lines, airlines, tour operators and other companies (“suppliers”) that we book for you. Bookings are made through Fora. Each supplier's own terms, including its payment, cancellation, change and refund rules, apply to your booking, and we will share them with you before you pay.

We act as your advisor and booking agent. We do not own or operate any hotel, ship, airline or tour, and we are not responsible for a supplier's acts, delays, failures or financial problems.

Prices shown on this site and on our social media are examples based on specific dates, are usually per person based on two adults sharing, and can change at any time until your booking is confirmed and paid. We confirm the full price, including taxes and mandatory fees, before you book. Deals are subject to availability.

Payments are made directly to the supplier or to Fora, never to me personally. Deposits and final payment dates are set by the supplier. Missing a payment date can lead to cancellation and penalties set by the supplier.

If a planning fee applies to your trip, I will tell you the amount and what it covers in writing before you commit. Planning fees are paid through Fora, not to me personally.

Changes and cancellations follow the supplier's rules and may involve fees or loss of deposits. Please contact me as soon as your plans change so I can help you through the supplier's process. Refunds, when available, are issued by the supplier.

You are responsible for checking that names on bookings match each traveler's passport or ID, and for having valid passports, visas, vaccinations and any other documents required for your trip, including for minors traveling with one parent or other adults. Please review every confirmation and tell me right away if anything is wrong.

We strongly recommend travel insurance. If you choose not to buy it, you accept the financial risk of cancellations, medical costs and other losses. I am not a licensed insurance agent, so questions about coverage should go to the insurance provider.

Destination guides and tips on this site are for general information and may change. Photos and writing are our own unless credited and may not be copied without permission. Some links are affiliate links; see our disclosure.

To the extent allowed by law, Places Around The World and Fora are not liable for injury, loss, damage, delay or expense caused by suppliers, weather, strikes, illness, government action or other events outside our control. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Fora Travel, Inc. is registered with the State of Florida as a Seller of Travel, Registration No. ST43973. Yohana Rodriguez is filed with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services as an Independent Agent of Fora Travel, Inc., Registration No. TI129169.
